The BP 70C31 belongs to Sharp's BP 70C31 to BP 70C65 series, first out in 2022, and it is the one rated at 31 pages a minute. Also in the series, by A4 speed: the BP 70C36 at 36, the BP 70C45 at 45, the BP 70C55 at 55 and the BP 70C65 at 65 pages a minute. On the spec sheet, it handles double sided originals in a single pass at speeds up to 140 images a minute, takes 650 sheets as supplied and 6,300 with paper options added and handles card as heavy as 300 gsm.

On a service agreement, a machine that fails is replaced, for the whole term. Rental is from $15 a week plus GST for selected machines, finance is subject to approval, and at the end of the term you can upgrade or hand it back.

Put any machine on our service agreement and the replacement warranty comes with it. New or secondhand, and whether you rent, lease, finance or buy outright, the rule is the same: should the machine fail, you get a replacement. The cover runs to the final day of the agreement, not the end of year one.
On a new copier the maker's own warranty is usually 12 months, on the hardware only; consumables sit outside it. Beyond that year, your cover is the service agreement. Your agreement sets out the full terms of the replacement warranty.
