Who should choose it

Choosing a grade and a way to pay

The TASKalfa 3252ci comes in three grades on our list: renewed, the closest to new; refurbished, the most popular; and used, the lowest outlay. Each is checked, with its page count in writing. Buy it outright, or rent or lease over as long as 60 months, depending on its age. The price takes in delivery, network installation, scanning setup and a walk through for your staff.

With a service agreement, our replacement warranty covers the full term. Selected machines rent from $15 a week plus GST, subject to approval. We do not sell a machine we cannot service.

Options fitted. A finisher, more drawers or a high capacity tray change the work it can take on, and the figure you pay.
Service after the sale. Secondhand only pays off while someone keeps it running. We do not sell a machine we cannot service.

Replacement warranty

Machine fails? It gets replaced. Right to the end of the term.

Put any machine on our service agreement and the replacement warranty comes with it. New or secondhand, and whether you rent, lease, finance or buy outright, the rule is the same: should the machine fail, you get a replacement. The cover runs to the final day of the agreement, not the end of year one.

On a new copier the maker's own warranty is usually 12 months, on the hardware only; consumables sit outside it. Beyond that year, your cover is the service agreement. Your agreement sets out the full terms of the replacement warranty.

Questions

Kyocera TASKalfa 3252ci: your questions

Can you still buy a new TASKalfa 3252ci?

No. Kyocera has since brought out the TASKalfa 3253ci. Secondhand is the way to get one now, and we do not sell a machine we cannot service.

What page count will a secondhand TASKalfa 3252ci have?

It varies from machine to machine. You get the exact count in writing before you choose, and it tells you more than the year it was made.

Should I choose the TASKalfa 3252ci or the TASKalfa 4052ci?

They sit in the same series. The TASKalfa 3252ci runs at 32 pages a minute and the TASKalfa 4052ci at 40. Match the speed to the number of people printing.

Is the TASKalfa 3252ci available on rental?

Yes, subject to approval. On selected machines rental is from $15 a week plus GST, and at the end of the term you can upgrade or hand it back. Ask about this one and the figures come to you in writing.
