Copier trade in for Melbourne offices

An old copier can still be worth something. Trade in your A3 copier or office printer: its value comes off the new machine, and the old one leaves in the same changeover.

  • Trade in price off the new machine
  • Every major brand
  • Old machine taken away
  • Buy, rent or lease the replacement
How it works

Trading in, from first photo to changeover

  1. Describe the old machine

Brand, model and an approximate page count. A photo of the rating label or the meter screen is useful.

  2. Get the trade in price

In writing, beside the figures for the new machine, so the true difference is clear.

  3. Pick the replacement

Any grade from new to used, paid for any way you like.

  4. The changeover

The replacement is installed and the old machine leaves on the same visit, at a time agreed with you.

What sets a trade in price?

The model and its age, the page count, the condition, and whether it still runs. A machine only a few years old can take a useful amount off the new one.

Even a copier near the end of its life can count towards an upgrade, since parts from older machines keep others running. Mention the old machine when you ask about the new one.

One changeover: the new copier arrives, the old one leaves.

Why trading in helps

  • The trade in value comes off the new machine, which makes the step up smaller.
  • No old machine to sell, store or get rid of.
  • One visit: new machine in, old machine out.
  • It applies whether the new machine is bought, rented or leased.

Office tower, apartment building or a warehouse in the west or north: the swap is planned around the lifts, loading docks and access at your site.

Copier still under an agreement?

A leased or rented machine may not yet be yours to trade. Send the agreement first, and you will know where you stand and what the options are before committing to anything.

Replacement warranty

Machine fails? It gets replaced. Right to the end of the term.

Put any machine on our service agreement and the replacement warranty comes with it. New or secondhand, and whether you rent, lease, finance or buy outright, the rule is the same: should the machine fail, you get a replacement. The cover runs to the final day of the agreement, not the end of year one.

On a new copier the maker's own warranty is usually 12 months, on the hardware only; consumables sit outside it. Beyond that year, your cover is the service agreement. Your agreement sets out the full terms of the replacement warranty.

Questions

Trading in a copier: common questions

Can a broken copier be traded in?

Often, yes. A machine that no longer runs can still hold value in its parts. Send the brand and model and a figure comes back.

Which machines qualify for trade in?

Any major brand of A3 copier or office multifunction printer. Ask about anything else.

How is the trade in price paid?

It comes off the price of your new machine, however you choose to pay for it.

Is the trade in only for an upgrade with you?

Yes. The value of your old machine is taken off a new one supplied by Copier Store.

What if the copier is still on a lease?

Start by sending the agreement. Until the term ends or the lease is paid out, the machine may not be yours to trade, and you will hear which applies.
