The machine

Within OKI's C900 series, the C911dn is the machine for colour on card. It prints double sided, connects to the network, and handles heavy stock an ordinary office copier would refuse. OKI's guidance is up to 25,000 pages a month, with a rated maximum of 300,000.

Fifty a minute on A4, and card as heavy as 360 gsm.

Which office it fits

Print rooms, schools, sign and menu makers, and any office putting plenty of colour onto card. For everyday printing on paper, the much smaller C834 sits on a desk.

Grades, payment and setup

On our list the C911 comes new or secondhand. Every unit is checked, and its page count reaches you in writing before you choose. Pay outright, or take a rental or lease on a term of up to 60 months; the machine's age sets the longest term. Included in the price: delivery, network installation, scanning setup and a walk through for your staff.

Put it on a service agreement and our replacement warranty runs for the full term: a machine that fails is replaced. Rental is from $15 a week plus GST for selected machines, finance is subject to approval, and at the end of the term you can upgrade or hand it back.

Checks before you buy secondhand

  • Pages printed so far. The count comes in writing, and on an OKI it is a better guide than the age.
  • Drums and fuser. Both wear as pages go through. Ask how much life each has left before you choose.
  • Options fitted. Extra trays, a stand, a duplex unit: each one changes what the machine can handle.
  • Service, and for how long. Every machine we sell, we service, and you hear how many years of OKI support remain.

Replacement warranty

Machine fails? It gets replaced. Right to the end of the term.

Put any machine on our service agreement and the replacement warranty comes with it. New or secondhand, and whether you rent, lease, finance or buy outright, the rule is the same: should the machine fail, you get a replacement. The cover runs to the final day of the agreement, not the end of year one.

On a new copier the maker's own warranty is usually 12 months, on the hardware only; consumables sit outside it. Beyond that year, your cover is the service agreement. Your agreement sets out the full terms of the replacement warranty.

Questions

OKI C911: your questions

Can I buy a new OKI C911?

Yes. It is a current OKI model in Australia, so we supply it new. Secondhand ones reach our list from time to time as well.

How heavy a card can the C911 take?

From the trays, 320 gsm; through the bypass tray, 360 gsm. Those are OKI's figures.

C911 vs C931: which one?

Both share the C900 body and run at 50 pages a minute. The C911 is still sold by OKI Australia; the C931 is not.

Is an OKI C911 available on rental?

Secondhand OKIs can be rented on a term matched to the machine's age, subject to approval. Rental is from $15 a week plus GST for selected machines. Tell us which one you are after and the figures come back in writing.
