By the maker's figures, it reaches 100 images a minute when the optional single pass document feeder is fitted, takes 1,150 sheets as supplied and 7,150 with paper options added and handles card as heavy as 300 gsm. Its successor is the TASKalfa 5003i.

On a new copier the maker's own warranty is usually 12 months, on the hardware only; consumables sit outside it. Beyond that year, your cover is the service agreement. Your agreement sets out the full terms of the replacement warranty.
