Toshiba built the e STUDIO 5528A as the 55 page a minute member of its e STUDIO 6528A series. Its sister models: the e STUDIO 2528A at 25 and the e STUDIO 6528A at 65 pages a minute. By the maker's figures, it handles double sided originals in a single pass at speeds up to 240 images a minute, takes 1,200 sheets as supplied and 5,200 with paper options added and handles card as heavy as 300 gsm. It is current in Toshiba's Australian range.
