Keep it, or replace it?

Inside its support dates and running well, a C833 is worth keeping. An ES8433 is outside OKI's support, so parts depend on what can be found. Once running costs climb, the current C834 does the same job, newer and quicker to the first page. In the same changeover we can take the old one away (trade in).

Replacing it with us

The C834 is on our list new, beside secondhand OKI A3 printers, every unit checked and its page count stated in writing. Included in the price: delivery, network installation and a walk through for your staff. On a service agreement our replacement warranty runs for the full term, so a machine that fails is replaced.

Pay outright, rent or lease, subject to approval; rental is from $15 a week plus GST for selected machines, and at the end of a term you can upgrade or hand it back.

Checks before you buy secondhand

  • Pages printed so far. The count comes in writing, and on an OKI it is a better guide than the age.
  • Drums and fuser. Both wear as pages go through. Ask how much life each has left before you choose.
  • Options fitted. Extra trays, a stand, a duplex unit: each one changes what the machine can handle.
  • Service, and for how long. Every machine we sell, we service, and you hear how many years of OKI support remain.

Replacement warranty

Machine fails? It gets replaced. Right to the end of the term.

Put any machine on our service agreement and the replacement warranty comes with it. New or secondhand, and whether you rent, lease, finance or buy outright, the rule is the same: should the machine fail, you get a replacement. The cover runs to the final day of the agreement, not the end of year one.

On a new copier the maker's own warranty is usually 12 months, on the hardware only; consumables sit outside it. Beyond that year, your cover is the service agreement. Your agreement sets out the full terms of the replacement warranty.
